Whatever your trade or circumstances, it is likely that cloud accounting can benefit you by automating processes to give accurate and real-time data, helping you to make those informed decisions which can positively impact the future of your business, and this is where our support can prove to be invaluable.
At Charterhouse we are Platinum Partners with Xero, an easy to use cloud-based software. All of the Business Support Unit team are Xero Certified Advisors and undertake regular training in new areas of the software, and this means we are qualified to provide confident assistance and assurance whenever it is required.
While Xero is our preferred and recommended option, we are proficient with all other major software providers such as Sage, Quickbooks, FreeAgent, and more, but do recommend migration across to Xero.
The Business Support Unit can provide assistance at all steps along the digital journey, including:
- Initial migration of data and setup of a Xero account for those who either do not currently use cloud software or those on a different software platform
- A training session to show you the important features and benefits of Xero and our recommended app partner, Dext (formerly known as Receipt Bank)
- Ongoing support – if you are unsure on something, pick up the phone or drop us an email, and we can assist in real-time
- A full or partial bookkeeping service, depending on your needs. This service can include areas such as daily, weekly, or monthly bank reconciliations; raising & sending out sales invoices; analysing, publishing and reconciling purchase invoices against payments; posting payroll and other necessary journals; and maintaining your fixed asset register
- Providing you with useful and informative management reports on an agreed basis
- An overview or review service on a monthly or quarterly basis, to give you peace of mind that your figures are making sense and that VAT or CIS requirements (if applicable) are being met and to provide you with insights into how the business is performing and what tax liabilities may be around the corner
- Access to third-party apps, to give you valuable advice and suggestions and “what if” scenarios, allowing you to make informed decisions and plan for the future
- HMRC compliance services throughout the year such as VAT and CIS submissions, year-end accounts preparation and submission, together with Corporation Tax compliance for limited companies
