Either in conjunction with our periodic Management Accounts or as a separate exercise, we are able to give you visual data in the form of graphs and charts, along with Key Performance Indicators and other metrics which can be useful as a different way of interpreting and analysing the financial figures, and which can give valuable insights into performance.

In addition to reporting on the actual data for current and previous periods, we can provide you with access to cashflow forecasting tools, allowing you to plan for the future growth and success of the business by factoring in scenarios such as, for example, price changes or additional employee costs, so you can see the impact of these events on the future bottom line and the bank balance. This is done by integrating your cloud accounting software with specialist third-party apps which then use AI capabilities to look at the trends from real-life data, to make realistic predictions for the future.

Business Forecasting

As with Management Accounts, this type of forecasting tool is invaluable when contemplating borrowing funds for capital investment, as you, along with banks and other lenders, would want to be satisfied the plan was viable.

Along with cashflow forecasting is the ability to prepare budgets and then monitor these against actual performance to see the variances throughout a period.

Overall, these are reports and tools which every business should consider investing in, as having a financial plan for the period gives accountability to you as a business owner to review and monitor throughout to make sure you’re on the right track, and to bring things back on course if they deviate too far from the plan.
